redroo – notes on history

The story of redroo began many, many years ago. Forged on the battlefields of competing rugby teams the world over. Taking its name from the giant red kangaroo that had its origins at the end of the dinosaur era. It battled, and outfought the last of the dinosaurs. The spirit of the red roo allowed it to survive and thrive in a harsh climate.

Fast forward a few hundred thousand years and that same spirit has been revitalised in the form of redroo - Rugby Hardwear.

Two players in the world game from opposite sides of the world joined forces to create exciting, durable and stylish garments for both on and off the feld of play. Nathan Terry from Australia, Hanjo Junkelmann from Germany together with Halbro Sportswear Limited out of England have taken all their combined experience in the game, in pubs and general play to design and manufacture clothing with both a club feel and an independent style.
